Yusra mardini

How tough is your journey? A year ago, 17 year old Yusra Mardini was stuck in a broken down dinghy with 20 other Syrian refugees between Turkey and Greece.

Facing death like so many who had failed to make the trip, she and her sister jumped in the water and swam the boat all the way to land, saving everyone on board (almost all who couldn’t swim).

The story could end there but - incredibly - today Yusra will be representing no country, with no flag and no National Anthem, when she enters the Olympic Stadium to compete as an Olympic Athlete as part of the very first Olympic Refugee Squad.

If you lost everything - your home, your family, your country… Would you quit on life? Would you lay low and rebuild? Or would you - like Yusra - go all in and make a stand for your greatness?

In 2012, Yusra’s family home was destroyed in the Daraya Massacre, when Assad’s forces killed hundreds of his own citizens in their homes.

For the next three years, Yusra and her family tried to return to normality, but school was cancelled practically every week “or someone is shooting, and then you have to run.”

So Yusra and her sister made a bid to escape - getting smuggled to the Turkish coast to board a dinghy heading to Greece. As Mardini remembers, “There were 200, 300 people there, everyone waiting until there are no police in the sea so they can go.”

Yusra’s crowded dingy’s engine died within 20 minutes of leaving.

Only four in the boat could swim, but the two men who jumped in with Yusra and her sister soon gave up. Yusra says “I’m thinking, what? I’m a swimmer, and I’m going to die in the water in the end?”

So it was up to the two girls to keep going for the next three and a half hours: “The little kid kept looking at me, scared, so I was doing all these funny faces.”

They made it to Lesbos, then were smuggled through Serbia to Hungary, Austria and finally, Germany - where she spent the winter queueing for days at a time to get asylum papers.

So how did she end up at the Olympics? Yusra says “I remember everything… I never forget. But it’s the thing that’s pushing me actually to do more and more. Crying in the corner, that’s just not me.”

She continued her passion for swimming, and joined a local swimming club in Berlin, where her talent was seen by the National Team and IOC. She decided to make a bid for the Olympics despite having no country to compete for, and qualified for the 100m Freestyle & 100m Butterfly.

Now - one year after her swim across the Aegean Sea -  Yusra is competing in the Rio Olympics as part of 10 athletes in the very first Refugee Olympic Team.

She will be in the Stadium tonight, for the opening ceremony, saying “I want to show everyone that, after the pain, after the storm, comes calm days. I want to inspire them to do something good in their lives.”

However tough things get, remember it’s the tough times that make you tougher.

So when you’ve got the option to sink or swim, keep on swimming.

Pierre de Coubertin, who founded the modern Olympics, said about the Games: "The important thing in life is not the triumph, but the struggle.”

Yusra adds to that: “My message at these Games: Never give up."

Soul level

Soul Level -
We have travelled through many lifetimes and lived with many different souls amid family, friends or those who don't really get along with us. Some may have even tried to harm us emotionally, physically or spiritually.
All said and done, we all are the same and belong to only one group that is SOULS.
We all have travelled together in different lifetimes and have shared various relationships with each other; Father-mother, husband-wife, uncle-aunt, brother-sister, friends, neighbours, servants, drivers and even so-called enemies.
Each person is a Soul that tries to help the other move forward spiritually and reduce the Karmic baggage.
Sometimes the Soul that loves us the most, might willingly take birth as an enemy or a tormentor in a lifetime, just to help us work out our karma. Thus, a person who we think hates us and we in return  hate might be our greatest well-wisher spiritually. He or She may be responsible for our becoming spiritual or compassionate. That very person who is creating hell in our lives may bring us closer to God and spirituality. In the present lifetime, he/she may be doing so because that could be the only way to teach us a lesson.
Sometimes, a Soul is reborn just to comfort us and be there in times of need. So, who is our friend and who is our enemy?
They all are part of the Soul-Family who wants to help us and want help in return. Sometimes an opportunity comes in the form of a Disaster. Sometimes, the only way God can find place in our hearts and lives is thru pain, sorrow and turmoil. That is when Life seems strange.
Hence, never form judgements, abuse or hate and never say nasty things about anyone.
Who knows we may be harming the Soul who loves us the most spiritually but are not able to recognize it as the soul is wearing a different body in this particular lifetime.

The world needs us to stay in a place of love right now, and we all have access to this love, whether we know it or not.

We all can “send” love to people that we know, even if they live in different parts of the world, without having to be attuned to any particular energy, or trained in an energy healing modality like Reiki. We just need our good intention, a pure heart and a desire to fill the world with light. And a structure for how to do it! Which is what I intend to supply here.

Please share this post with your friends and anyone you feel might enjoy trying it. The more of us that choose peace and love, and actively send love and light out to the world; the more the energy of the earth will shift towards love and come into balance and heal itself. And that is what we want.

How to Send Love and Light to a Friend or Relative

Here are some simple steps you can try. For this exercise you can send love and light to someone who you know, whether they are a relative or friend, live near you or far away. Ask them afterwards if they felt it!

Go to a quiet place. If you really want to do this and if you haven’t before; make an effort to create a “space of love” for yourself so you can go deeply in the exercise and connect with how you are feeling.A space of love is a quiet space both in the room where your physical body is, and in your mind, where you can think peaceful and loving thoughts. You can leave any disruptive thoughts outside your space of love for later where they will be waiting for you. You can also send physical pain outside your space of love, by imagining it leaving your body.Set your intention – who is this love and light for? Picture them in your mind, and see a soft glow around them. Ask them if they would like to receive love from you. Wait for a yes – sometimes you may get a feeling of a no, and that’s ok too. Perhaps leave it for another time, or choose someone else.Imagine the person you have chosen is in a bubble of energy which begins to open up to receive the love and light that you want to send to them.As you picture the destination for this love and light, be aware of your body and what is going on with the energy around you. Slow down your thoughts, become aware of your breath. Focus on your breath, hear your heart beating and feel the ground beneath your feet, and begin to breathe from your stomach.Place your hands on your stomach and feel it rise and fall as you breathe. Relax your stomach and let any tension flow out and down your legs, and into the earth. Become centred in your body, feel your legs, your lower body open and send all the tension you carry downwards and to the floor. Stay doing this for a while until you really feel that you are in a place of stillness.Bring your awareness to your heart. Visualise it – is it closed or open? Is it small or large? What colour is it? Breathe into your heart and imagine the colours getting stronger, expanding in size and it opening. It is radiating love, like sunbeams. If you want help opening your heart, click here to try my SoundCloud meditation.Imagine that the sunbeams radiating out of your heart are stretching out of your body and filling your body with love and light. Stay there breathing for a while and let the love and light clear away any negativity or unwanted emotional energy from your own energy space.Imagine now that you are a clear space for love and light. As you imagine your sunbeams are getting bigger, visualise your own energy expanding and filling the room with love and light. If you get lightheaded doing this, only go as far as you feel comfortable, and continue to ground yourself.Connect in with the image of the person you accessed at the beginning. Imagine the sunbeams are beaming out from you and washing them too – with pure, unconditional love and light.Have no attachment to any outcome – you are not doing this to “make” this person love you back. You are doing this because you have this love to give, and perhaps this love and light is exactly what this person needs to feel today. Be grateful for the opportunity to share the love with the world, without needing anything in return.Expand your flow of love and light outwards and imagine one other person who may need love and light today. Drench them in your sunbeams in your mind, and see them relax and smile as they feel warm and loved. Again, no attachment to outcome, no need to have that person do anything to pay you back.When you are ready, let all the images dissolve slowly and come back into your space of love. Bring yourself back into your body, breathing slowly. Feel your arms, your legs, your feet in your shoes, feel that you are here, in your physical body, connected to the ground. Wiggle your fingers. Feel like you have completely disconnected from the people you were working with, in a gentle, loving way.When you are ready, open your eyes.

You might want a few minutes to “come back to normal” after trying this, as this exercise does raise your vibration and if you’re not used to it it can make you feel lightheaded, or heavier in your body, some people may feel a little bit shaky. The more often you try it the more powerful it is, and the more willing you are to give love out to the world, the stronger your “sunbeams” it will be.

Cutting chords

How to Cut the Etheric Cords With Another

The reason why people cut cords with others is to generally move on from a person and let them go energetically - this means on an energy level. People who we are close to form energetic bonds with us that resemble cords of energy that link one person to the other. These are etheric cords, so think of ether as a kind of energy. Those who have seen the cords (and often we can see them in meditation for example) describe them as dark in colour. The bonding itself can be light with just a slim cord, or you can be corded heavily with another through your chakras and can have multiple thick cording that literally shows your attachment, either mentally, emotionally, sexually, or all of the above. 

Of course, when you care about another, the cording is not a problem. The cords act as a way we send and receive psychic energy between charkras, theirs and ours. The more energy we send, the bigger the cords, and this is normal in any relationship. Communication between chakras is how a lot of communication happens between people. However, when we want to let someone go because we aren't moving on, the cords and the continuing psychic/energy communication between them and us can hold us back. Luckily there are easy ways to remove the cords; no cord is meant to be forever. Whether cords reform again is entirely up to us, but when we are ready to let someone go, we probably won't go to the effort of reforming the psychic ties any longer.

What can you expect once the cords are cut?

In simple terms, you can expect to find your mind no longer dwells upon the person as the psychic attachment has been dissolved. With Whom Should We Cut Cords?

You can cut the cords with any person who is bothersome to you psychically. This is to say anyone who sends you strong energy and who intrudes on your thoughts and emotions even when you are alone. If you are done with a person but find they always intrude on your thoughts and you can feel them around you or in your mind, you can cut the connection by cutting the etheric cords that attach the both of you.

You can certainly continue to cut the cords until they no longer recur and you have completely moved on. If a cord cutting fails, this indicates you are not willing to really let someone go yet. This is okay; it just means you aren't truly ready to move on. There may be a lesson in this relationship you have yet to master and your current attachment is giving you the opportunity to learn the lesson for good.

Cord cutting is done in conjunction with our loving Angels and Spirit Guides, who surgically remove the etheric cords that bind, cutting them completely from our auric field. I ask my angels and spirit guides to help me in this task. I wish to free myself for all eternity from ___(name)___ so that both of us may go free from ties that bind and all energy attachments from the past. It is time to move past the experiences we have shared. I am thankful for what I have learned and lessons given, but this attachment is no longer needed and is holding me back and affecting my 'now'.

With power I now ask for all cords to be cut, for all energetic cords physically connecting the two of us to be removed, dissolved, transmuted and cut free, and all energy to be returned to the original sender.

It is my intention that no more energy attachments hook onto me from ___(name)___.  With forgiveness and peace I release them to move away from me and move on whilst I do the same.

I now call upon Archangel Michael to use his mighty blue sword (or Sananda, Saint Germaine, Kwan Yin, Mother Mary) to surround me and cut away the cords and give me protection. Greetings and welcome to all of you!

As the title suggests, I want to explain what it is meant by "Karmic Relationships" and how this deep & powerful relationship,can sometimes overtake all that you are,and cause you to feel defeated and hurt time and again. This is a 3 part series, which will include "Soul-Mates" & "Twin Flames" 

A "Karmic Relationship", is not your soul-mate or twin flame, no matter how much you may want it to be, and this can be difficult to say the least. 

The love relationships that you experience throughout your life, are always karmic in nature.But not all past life relationships were happy ones, so when the connection is made between you, you have no idea whether this is a good or bad thing-only that you are drawn to them,like a magnet. 
The Karma or energy between you needs to be rinsed clean,so you can then continue your mission, and rise above, to your true happiness in life.If you are not ready for this, you may stay in unhealthy relationships, for fear of being left alone,unhappy,never find someone else & the list goes on. 

The experience of a "Karmic Relationship" is never supposed to be a lasting one-unless you enjoy arguments,unhappiness and resentments in your daily life. If you do not choose to embrace your happiness, and find out where you wish to be in life,then you will remain in these type of relationships-or keep attracting them.
All the while,you may be wishing for a better life,but not willing to do any inner healing-or be true to yourself,or even know how or where to begin the healing.
This confusion can also lead you further into depression and worry, and so the cycle continues.You may even feel trapped, scared and unable to move forward. There is no easy way out of self growth.It is going to be up to you,what is acceptable. 

In these kind of love relationships,there is no real growth on an inner level & there is also much confusion and indecision outwardly also. Many younger people will experience these relationships early in life,and this can even result in the first heartbreak-or go on to be a destructive long term relationships,and later,these can involve into having children. 
Yet the bond and connection was so overpowering,that even when all the signs are staring you in the face... .you choose to ignore this.(Maybe they will change??Not likely!) 
Again,if you are not OK with who you are-even if that meant you would never have a partner in your life, then you will always attract the kind of relationships that are destructive,hurtful and confusing,to say the least. In effect mirroring what you are portraying as you.... 

A Karmic Relationship has some of these characteristics:

Also a person who does not want a relationship with you, but just wants you for the good times,or only when it suits them,will sometimes be the hardest one to release.This person shows you a loving side that you long for,and so you believe they are almost perfect..If only...

Sometimes you may break away from these kinds of relationships,and still the moment this person contacts you,you will drop everything and run straight to them!!!You will even accept the other's excuses! As long as they have wanted you for that moment! Even when you know its foolish. 
All of these and more are signs of a Karmic Relationship.
This relationship will only get better,if you are BOTH willing to grow forward and embrace the love that you want for your life,and this will also include a growing emotionally and spiritually,so all the things that used to occupy your time,will change to more love based and happy things.You must be on the same path...both heading to the completion of your goals/dreams .Working together & building the future you would like. Usually,once you start to develop these areas of your life,you may even drift apart further,because you will be forced to deal with your true feelings about this person.

It is rare that a Karmic relationship will make anyone truly happy.The whole time that a relationship like this is happening,you KNOW deep down that this is just too hard,and it is not going to last.This underlying thought is what will eventually rule out.
(But I really LOVE them?? No! You just think you do! ) 
You may also believe that one day,they will see how happy you make them,and how much they love you....ummm NO! This is something that is established in the first 5 minutes of meeting,not after years of hurt and strain-or after you have gone!

Don't believe the put downs you may have received from this person-sometimes, a dark energy may be lurking with them-in which case, they will feel threatened by your light.

You may go through a very hard time after the split.Your children, family and your ex may continue to make you pay for mistakes,but still,you have to push forward.If you truly want the deepest love you can have on Earth, you won't find it behind closed doors with someone who is not.

It will be up to you to start beginning the healing process. Talk to your Angels about things.Ask them to guide your way.Ask them to give you faith and hope,even when you are crying in your pillow at night. Strengthen yourself and refuse these lower levels of love to consume you.

Once you have come out of these types of entanglements,you may still get angry or revert to your old way of thinking,but you would have made the most important discovery.You will find that you made it after all,and you can't believe how you could have stayed there all that while.

Please don't ever make the mistake of thinking something is incredibly wrong with you-in reality it has nothing to do with you-but what level you and they are at. 

If you are in this sort of situation,and you are not sure how to get out of it or you don't want to have this person harass or call you etc..then you need to be sure that you are ready to leave,and there is no way you would go back. Sometimes we go back again,because it is "easier than arguing" or "the kids are missing them" or "I have no choice" ect..but then we have to start the whole process over again-most times with a whole range of new hurt. Rise above,and never stoop down again-it will be something that you will need to decide very deeply.

The biggest challenge for everyone is going to be the release process.You will go through a wide range of emotions as well as feeling like you are abandoned by the Angels...one thing that you never have to concern yourself with is being alone,for we Angels will be there for you every step of the way,and when you are ready,we shall help with the right partner for you. One who deserves you and will want to grow with you! 

Of course you may still have a few "trial runs" with some that are Karmic ties to you, but this too,is all part of the process relationship good or bad is intended for you to become fully aware of what you want in life-and whatever that is,if you believe that it can happen to you,and you also want a lasting relationship,this will be brought forward.

Never feel guilt about anything you may have done or said in these sort of relationships...what is done is certainly done,and we Angels hold no grudges to you-we just wait for you to come to us for help in the matter!
As long as you are not repeating mistakes over and over again, you are growing-and so each relationship you have will build you up to the one you finally settle with.

My point is,dear children,you may not learn straight away-or there is still Karma to be balanced between you and another,and so you may have another relationship that is different but along the same lines...the difference will be that you will work this out a lot sooner,and therefore it becomes easier for you-until you are with your true life partner. 

We Angels want you to have the ultimate happiness that you deserve! If you don't wish to have a partner,there is nothing wrong with this,but if you ever do,remember to write down what you require in this person,and then ethericly "hand this over to us Angels to deal with for you!" this frees you up to work on yourself and what you have been wanting to do in life...when you least expect it, you will be looking at the one who will love you and make you feel complete-you will then see,that what you had experienced in the past,pales in comparison to the real thing! YES it will happen for you!! I can fully understand how hard it is to break away. Even when you do,there are so many circumstances in which you will need to see them-especially where children are involved,and floods of memories can come back.
I can tell you that the first time you see your "ex" with someone else,you become very angry-even if you yourself have moved past this. Especially if your "ex" appears to be happy and settled the way you wished it was...
But remember this,that time does heal all wounds .Although you may still, even years later, have to deal with upset and issues about this, you have still come a long way from where you were,and this is a great accomplishment.

Stop trying to change your self for a relationship that's
not meant to be-slower is better

A friend would not mistreat a friend.
Compromise is a two way street.

You need time to heal betterment relationships,
there is nothing CUTE about baggage!
Deal with your issues BEFORE pursuing a new Relationship.

You should never look for someone to complete you,
A relationship consists of two whole individuals-
Look for someone complimentary not supplementary.

There are Angels that you can connect with to help you to recover and heal those parts of you that have been broken down and painfully hurt. The most important Angels you can have with you in these times, are your Guardian Angels. 
You will still go through a lot of anguish,but this is also part of the healing process. The main thing is that now you are moving forward in your life,and because of this,you open the floodgates of happiness,and self love.
